It's late and it's hard for me to properly blog what went on for my New Year's weekend. I can't recall the exact dates, but I met someone wonderful and I spent my NYE with her.
But first, because I want to go in chronological order, let's start with... the Reggae Club! Hell, I can't remember the name of the place. All I know is that They had an even going on for NYE. This mostly pertained to other countries in far off timezones. I believe I may have still had a day before mine was coming along.
I had so much fun here, even without a dance partner. I've never danced to reggae before and it was just one of the most enjoyable things I've done in SL all alone. Not once did I feel like I needed someone to dance with. It's liberating, really. And I look so damned cute. Hell yes.
After that, I took off for Phat Cat's. Ah, I love that place - as crowded it is with random strangies (the not quite creeps, but still give me the creeps kinda people.) It's a beautiful place with beautiful music and beautiful people. I met this one girl whos name escapes me, but she was a joy to dance with. Also very beautiful, but I see her face everywhere... which makes me think that her AV is a set that comes with a shape and skin.
Off the the Blue Note I went after it just got too laggy for me. There, I met a couple of lovely young ladies. It seems that I was set on fire by the first girl. I had never had nerve to ask a girl to dance, but I'm much more comfortable with them than a random guy I might meet on SL. Possibly because I do am not here particularly for sex, but to meet new people and enjoy this unreal life form of mine. I feel too much pressure from the guys I've danced with to make it a romantic evening when I really don't care. I just want to dance.... But with a lady, the romance is just inevitable.
Here she is, the woman who taught me that SL is not just a feedbox for free sex. We danced the night away. Beyond us, the snow slowly melted with the warmth of the rising sun... and possibly the heat between us. She's beautiful, vivacious, and fun loving. She is loved by many and it only took seconds to see why. Kara Foley, you doll... I love that you're my friend. I do.
It is sad that today's post, though about the most enjoyable time of my SL life, is also the shortest. I've provided good pictures, I believe, at least. I think... maybe I'd rather keep the joy greedily to myself than to type it all out. It's mine. Mine. All mine, I say!
